The clinic of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Damare, Adamawa state today got a major boost with the donations of essential drugs from two partners in nation building.
Presenting the first batch of drugs on behalf of the management of Federal College of Education, Yola, the Provost, Professor Abdulmumin Sa’ad, represented by the the Deputy Registrar Establishment, Mallam Musa Idris Aliyu said the donation was a way of supporting NYSC in meeting the health needs of Corps members.
He further said that the College will never relent in partnering with NYSC at all times to ensure that Corps members serve the nation in a comfortable atmosphere.
In a related development, the Chief Executive of SUDASA Charity Foundation, Mr. Mustapha who presented another set of drugs narrated the his nongovernmental organization is known for caring for all categories of people, especially the underprivileged.
Speaking further, he said that the foundation which is community development based is ready to go into partnership with NYSC in order to make greater impact on people’s lives.
The NYSC Adamawa State Coordinator, Mallam Abubakar Mohammed in a swift reaction eulogized the two donors for their generosity, even without being requested.
He said that their charitable acts are worthy of emulation by other friends of the Scheme in order to further demonstrate the friendliness for which Adamawa state has been prominent over the ages.
The State Coordinator used the occasion to invite SUDASA to join NYSC in carrying out its frequent Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers, HIRD free medical outreach.
