Fenny Fwa Writes:
Sometimes I fee like keeping quite on national issues to avoid being lampooned as a wailer and some going as far as using denigratory terms to attack some of my views and others which we simply urge for drastic actions to be taken to address the sinking economy. If you are lucky the mild response from the fanatical group is suffer now and enjoy later. That no solutions could be found without some pain being inflicted.

We therefore plead for drastic measures be taken to stem the tide, especially the corrupt management of FOREX , we are descended on my the PMB die hard that it could have been worse if GEJ was in charge.
When we are ask for a change in the cabinet because those in charge have performed woefully, we are lambasted for being impatient.
When we ask for the heads of those already enmeshed in cases of corruption and occupy strategic positions and nothing has been done and we dare say the fight against corruption appears to be selective we are told about the unassailable character of PMB and the thieves he is catching and the monumental amount being recovered from marauders in GEJ administration.
When we ask for a strong economic team that will put in place a very comprehensive economic roadmap that will revive the comatose economy, we are told that this regime is on top of the economic woes of the economy and very soon we shall all smile.
When we ask for diversifying the economy through the revival of agriculture and solid mineral sectors as promised during the campaign and so far we haven’t seen much action apart from the closure of land borders to stop the flooding of our market with imported foodstuff which has in the past affected local production . Presently I’m engage in large scale agricultural production and not a single government policy to fast rack agriculture like the availability of farming inputs and implements, accessibility of liberal sources of funding etc have been put in place. when we wailed on these, we are reminded that we were used to cheap money and now that the avenues of making cheap money have been blocked we have refused to adjust.
When we wailed that power occupies central position in accelerating economic activities and therefore the hitherto clueless GEJ regime could not improve the situation it found on the ground oscillating between 4000-5000 megawatts at their peak, this regime almost two years in its life of four year term, the power situation remains the same. Just like GEJ we are being reminded that the inability to produce optimum power is the handiwork of saboteurs that have been vandalizing sources of power supply and the shortfall of water at hydro electricity plants.
When we say such observations are not criticism as such but to assist the regime enrich its quest to bring about growth and development, the hailers think we do not see anything good in this regime which is quite unfortunate. I want to remind the hailers that that we are all Nigerians and all of us will be happy to see any regime excel except of few miscreants amongst us. Refusing to join us make some of these observations and proffering solutions, but insisting that things are on course is a serious disservice to the project Nigeria.
May God help us to have a common front to articulate an agenda that will lead this nation to greatness.
