|Senator Abdul-Azeez Nyako|
While presenting the donations at a ceremony in Yola, Nyako said the ambulance would be presented to Hong Cottage hospital while the motor-cycles would be distributed to some farmers in the seven local government areas of the zone to facilitate their farming activities.
Nyako said that he was trying to talk to relevant authorities to see how the total ban on the use of motor-cycle in the state could be lifted particularly in areas where there was no more serious security threat.
“We ordered the motor-cycles before the total ban by the military for security reason. With the gradual improvement of security in the state, I will try and talk to relevant authorities to see how the ban can be reviewed particularly in areas was there are no more activities of insurgents so that our farmers can make maximum use of their motor-cycle for farming activities.” Nyako said.ADVERTISEMENTADVERTISEMENT
