|Hon. Adamu Kamale|
Member, Michika/Madagali Constituency of Adamawa State at the Chamber, House of Representatives, Hon. Adamu Kamale debunks recent reports alleging that he is working in favour g APC candidate in the postponed Michika LGA Council election.
I read a mischievous article on Dailytrust online, dated 5th August, 2016, alleging that I am working in favor of APC candidate in the postponed Michika Local Government Council election. It’s funny, dubious and unfounded lies. I am a PDP stakeholder representing my Constituency on the platform of PDP. I am not an APC member and I can’t work for APC either openly or in secret; either directly or through proxy. I am not a personnel of Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission nor Security personnel, how can I postponed an election? I am not even at the State Assembly that legislates on the ADSIEC.
The publication is sponsored by the axis of evil with ulterior motives. They want to mar my reputation as a faithful PDP stakeholder. I would have been happy to welcome constructive criticism that can help me push further to alleviate the suffering of our people from the hardship of the insurgents such as lack of shelter, food, our children that are out of school etc, rather than the myopic self-serving ones.ADVERTISEMENT
Let every well-meaning Kamue and all from Michika LGA ignore the mischievous article because who so ever they elected among my brothers is acceptable not only to me but to all of us. I will never work against or subvert the wishes of the electorates that voted me to the National Assembly. Remember my own election was shifted last year by INEC, but I still emerged victorious.
