Police in Adamawa has nabbed two fraudsters who were said to be issuing fake appointment letters to those seeking teaching jobs in Adamawa public schools.
The Executive Secretary Post Primary Schools Management Board, Alh. Adamu Danjuma disclosed that the suspects were apprehended with fake appointment letters and had since been handed over to the police for prosecution.
Danjuma in an interview with the press categorically stated that the board is not recruiting nor replacing any staff as of now and warned the public against the activities of fraudsters.
He said the board is trailing one of the fraudsters who specialized in forging signatures of former and the present Executive Secretaries of the board.
The Executive Secretary called on the general public to be on the alert and report any person who approaches them with such offer.
Sources at the Adamawa state Police Command Headquarters Yola, confirmed the story, said the suspects would soon be arraign in court upon completion of investigation.
