There are reports of growing tension and fear among Mbula communities in Demsa Local Government of Adamawa State over planned invasion by Islamic Terrorists who operate under the guise of killer Herdsmen for the past few days.
Reports made available to Exclusive Global indicated that women and children were seen relocating from Borrong town and its environs for fear of possible attack today being Tuesday, a major market day of the surrounding communities in the Area while able-bodied youths and adults are left behind to defend their territories against possible invasion by the jihadists.
A source who spoke on the condition of anonymity said that a local medicine vendor in Borrong who operates a patent medicine store was earlier seen evacuating his goods and property to avoid losses during the invasion, an action that raised suspicion among other Residents who sought an explanation from the fleeing Igbo medicine vendor only to discover that a Fulani friend had warned him of the impending attack and asked him to relocate before the invasion.
The Overseer of the Mbula nation, Prince Fenny Fwah who is holding brief for the ailing Murum Mbula, Murum J. J. Fwa, was not available for comment but an insider in the palace told our correspond that the palace is aware of the growing tension and fear, emphasizing that the palace is not sleeping over the matter but will get the authorities duly informed as usual.
Part of the communities of the Mbula nation have been under persistent attacks by the so called killer Herdsmen lately. these communities included, Gwamba, Luru, Bakobi and others.
