A Staff of Gotel Communications in Adamawa, Mrs Clara Mustapha has been commended for adding value to journalism profession after championing a magazine publication titled “Woman Voice“; aimed at defending the cause of women in the state and the country at large.
Adamawa State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ahmed I. Sajoh who was the chairman of the occasion lauded the publisher and noted that the magazine will serve as a medium for women to air their views and urged them to patronize such a magazine so as to keep them abreast with the latest happening around the women’s world.
Comrade Sajoh noted that the magazine should be a voice for women that were deprived, and those in the IDP camps. Stressing that women plays a vital role in the society, and that the magazine will also serve as a voice for true and a virtuous women in the society.
While felicitating with the publisher, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Women Affairs, Hajiya Maisaratu Bello who represented the wife of the Executive Governor at the event has also described the publisher as a woman of substance and a home builder .
Unveiling the magazine the Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Binta Masi Garba described women as blessing and favor from the Lord . She said women need to be celebrated at all the time.
The chief launcher of the magazine Honorable Barrister Wakili Boya, the chairman of Fufore Local Government Area, said that the magazine came at the right time as it will set agenda for women.
