Saturday, March 17, 2018

All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bauchi State again faces defection as 300 of its members moves to New Nigerian People’s Party.

Bogoro LGA branch chairman of the NNPP in Bauchi State, Mr Andrew Simon said that the defectors’ decision to dump APC followed the ruling party’s failure to provide meaningful development in Nigeria.

While receiving the decampees in Boi Ward, Simon stressed that NNPP doors were open and was ready to welcome Nigerians to its fold, saying “the party remains a panacea in 2019.”

The chairman urged supporters of the existing political parties to collapsed into NNPP to rescue people from the leadership tyranny of APC under President Buhari

It could be called that about 500 APC members had dumped the party for NNPP in same Boi ward recently.

Leader of the decampees, Mr Philip Adamu said they were happy to join the NNPP. They accused the APC of making empty promise.
“We are back home unlike what we suffered from the hands of APC who had no vision and mission even when they were voted into power”, said Adamu.
