Blessing Peter Akor Wears The Crown As Miss Green & White Nigeria 2017/2018

The world is fast changing and young people are being used as an instrument of destruction, violence, and terrorism as stated by Ambassador Juliet Geoffrey Porbeni, President of the Miss Green and White Nigeria Organisation.

According to Juliet:

Miss Green and White Nigeria beauty pageant is designed to promote peace and unity and help build a better society through its campaign and advocacy programs. At the same time, the pageant celebrates the beauty of Nigerian children and young girls, presenting them as ambassadors for peace and unity.”

The finale which took place at the Banquet Hall, Sweet Sensation, 3 Opebi Road, Ikeja, Lagos last week Saturday, the 9th witnessed attendance from different dignitaries from around the country.

Contestants selected for the event came from various locations within the 36 states of the country and the  FCT. All the contestants were groomed through activities like seminars, workshops, skill acquisition programmes and training to achieve the set goals.

Former Miss North East Nigeria, Miss Blessing Peter Akor no doubt cleared the space and claimed her victory by mostly winning all activities and programmes designed in order to win the beauty contest.

Blessing Peter Akor is a native of Idoma from Benue State, born and brought in Yola the capital city of Adamawa State. She is a graduate of  English, an ex-banker and three times beauty queen.

In celebrating her victory, Miss Akor posted on her facebook that:

"Crowns arent made of rhinestones but Discipline,determination,consistency and a rare to find alloy called courage..#MissgreenandwhiteNig"
