Mubi Bomb Blast: Police advise faithful to beef up security at worship centres

Following the recent attack at worship centers that claimed several lives in Mubi, the Adamawa State Police Command has advised members of the public to intensify vigilance and screening of people at worship centers to guarantee safety of lives and property.

The Police Command however commiserated with the victims and the entire people of the State over the recent bomb blast that claimed several lives at Dezala Arhan Kunu in Mubi North Local Government Area.

A release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the State Police Command SP Othman Abubakar and made available to The Scope during the week appealed to the general public most especially Christian and Muslim  faithful to be extra vigilant at their worship centers.

according to the release, worshipers should be properly screened before having access to their worship centers as the Police continue to patrol such areas.

While sympathizing with the victims of the bomb blast, the release enjoined the general public to report any suspicious movement to the nearest Police Station or any other security agencies for prompt action.
