Adamawa APC confirms receipt of Atiku’s resignation letter

The Adamawa section of All Progressives Congress (APC) has affirmed the receipt of the renunciation letter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar from the party. 

The State Secretary of APC, Alhaji Saidu Nera, affirmed the advancement on Sunday to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Yola. 

Nera said he was yet to get the letter, yet the party's authorities of Jada 1 Ward in Jada Local Government Area where Atiku enlisted had disclosed to him that they got the letter. 

In the mean time, the former Vice President, who on Friday reported his choice to leave APC, has landed in Yola where he is currently occupied with arrangement of gatherings with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) authorities at all levels who continue trooping to his home to charm him over into the gathering. 

NAN reports that the previous Vice President had so far met with Adamawa PDP administrators at all level and additionally state directors from the six expresses that constituted North East, including the National Vice executive North East of the gathering. 

Remarking on the meeting amongst Atiku and the state administrators of PDP, the State Secretary of PDP, Alhaji Abdulllahi Prambe, said the meeting was productive. 

"Our meeting with him has been fruitful and from his body language he will soon return to PDP,”  Prambe stated. 

Prambe said that it would be a major lift to the gathering at the state and national levels when Atiku at long last returned. 

“With Atiku, the party will carry more weight and more people will also troop in,” Prambe said. 

At the point when reached on improvements, Atiku's representative, Mr Paul Ibe, declined to remark.
