COE Hong Commences Degree Programmes

The Adamawa State College of Education, Hong, will start degree programs in six instruction related courses from September, the Provost, Dr Johnson Pongri, has said.

Pongri disclosed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Yola that the degree programmes would be partnered to and directed by the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

The executive, who did not name the courses, be that as it may, said their presentation would extend the extent of scholastic projects keep running by the instructor preparing organization.

The college will soon begin its degree programme with at least with six courses.

“We are working hard to start the programme latest by September this year, especially as ABU has already giving us the go ahead.

“This programme will supplement the Adamawa State University, Mubi, which do not have a Faculty of Education,” he said.

The provost lauded the Tertiary Education Trust Fund for its enormous intercession in the school, and guaranteed that assets accommodated an ICT focus in the school would be appropriately used.

NAN reports that the school is as of now running 36 courses prompting to the honor of National Certificate of Education (NCE).
